We offer individual leases running from early June 2020 through late May 2021. *We also have Spring 2020 lease options available from January to May 2020!*
Everything you need. Individual rental rates include ALL utilities (heat, hot water, cable, internet, A/C, electricity, and in-unit washer and dryer!) and a fully furnished unit with full sized beds, desks, and dressers in each bedroom; stylish living room and dining room furniture; 46” flat screen HDTV in living room; in-unit washer and dryer; and new, sleek appliances in the kitchen (granite countertops, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and built in microwave)!
When you run the numbers, there’s a reason all-inclusive rent is the most popular thing in town.
Each resident in an apartment signs an individual lease that is co-signed by a parent or guardian over age 18. By signing an individual lease, students become responsible only for their own rent. If a roommate should leave the apartment, you remain responsible for your rent only.
Because Madbury Commons is right next to the University and Downtown, there’s no need for a car for day-to-day use. There is no on-property parking for residents. We have a limited amount of parking spaces available within a 2-5 minute walk or quick shuttle ride on a first-come first-serve basis for an additional fee.

Madbury Commons is located near the heart of the UNH campus and 1/10th of a mile from Downtown Durham, a short walk from epicenter of Durham and UNH life. The physical address is 21 Madbury Road.
The apartment comes fully furnished so your student need only bring his/her stuff. See below for a helpful list of what to bring and what NOT to bring. Scroll down.

Many students use bicycles so we have indoor and outdoor bike storage racks. However, bikes are not allowed in the elevators or apartments.
Security is a core focus and no residential property in Durham provides more robust nor more advanced security technology than Madbury Commons.
Residents Key-less Electronic Access Systems – entry using proximity cards, Smartphone, Networked integration with external and internal doors. Complete entry record tracking and digital archiving systems.
Visitor Access Security System – Innovative video intercom security system allows property visitors to query terminal to identify and alert tenants through their cell phones of their arrival. Tenants receive video confirmation of visitor identity and can grant or deny access through their cell phones. All activities are electronically recorded.
Video Surveillance – IP-based HD cameras are intelligently located in the building, rooftops and at all entrance ways to record the entrance and exit of all persons. The video feeds are monitored in the security offices and are digitally archived for 30 days or longer.
Security Team– A dedicated security team is onsite 7 days a week and is based out of our leasing office to provide a physical presence while security responsibilities are being carried out.
Individually Locked Bedrooms – Security extends to the individual bedrooms that have individual locks to assure personal privacy and security.
We have implemented new sets of operations and safety procedures to keep our residents safe.
We have required masks to be worn by anyone walking outside and throughout the halls of our properties, increased our security team staffing, installed hand sanitizer stations throughout the building, made masks available for our residents and staffs use, limited our gym with scheduling software, maintenance entry protocols for safe staff & resident interactions, etc. In effort to limit the spread of COVID-19.
