Madbury Commons Move-In Checklist

Step 1: Review All Move-In Communications

Thank you for choosing Madbury Properties for the 2023-2024 school year!
Leases start June 11, 2023. This is the date that your unit will be available for occupancy. We unfortunately cannot allow and will not approve of any early move-in dates. We operate within a limited timeframe to prepare a large number of units, working with our in-house team and third-party vendors day and night to ensure they meet our rigorous standards for move-in. This does not allow for flexibility of move-in dates.
In order to prepare for a hassle-free and efficient move-in process, we are suggesting your follow our Suggested Move-In Times for Madbury Commons. Please review all move-in communications to be best prepared for your move-in.

Step 2: Confirm Payment & Leasing Document Completion

Your Tenant Web Access Portal (Resident Portal) will be used to make your Monthly Rent Payments, Review All Leasing Documents, and Enter Maintenance Requests. Log into your Resident Portal to make sure your account balance reflects $0.00 and become comfortable navigating this software.

Some charges you may see on your Resident Portal are:

  • Application Fee
  • Security Deposit
  • June Rent (Due on June 1st)

If you are a renewing tenant, please be sure to switch your lease term while logged into your resident portal to the future dates.

Step 3: Prepare For Move-In

Madbury Commons apartments comes fully furnished so our residents only need to bring their own personal items. See below for a helpful list of what to bring and what NOT to bring. Scroll down.

Step 4: Acquire Your Apartment Keys

On the Lease Start Date June 11, 2023 we will have tables set up in our courtyard area for Madbury Commons residents to pick up their keys and move-in packets. Please note if you have an unpaid balance or outstanding leasing documents needing signature you will not be able to acquire your keys until the outstanding items are completed. Our staff will be busy assisting move-ins on our lease start date so please be sure to address any outstanding documents or payments prior to move-in.

For Residents of Madbury Commons planning to move-in after the lease start date you can pick up keys at the Madbury Properties Leasing Office, (located at Madbury Commons South Tower) 17 Madbury Road Suite 120 during our posted business hours. If you have not already paid your first month’s rent, be sure to bring payment in the form of a check to pick up your keys.

Step 5: Complete Our Move-in Inspection Form

Upon moving into your new apartment please complete the Move-In Inspection located at the bottom of this page. Click the menu tab “Move-In Inspection”, or scroll down to access this form.

The first resident to arrive will be required to complete a move-in inspection. The move-in inspection must be submitted within 5 days of the first resident moving in. Completing this inspection will ensure that you are not charged for pre-existing issues at move-out. If you fail to complete and submit this inspection form, you will be accepting the unit as-is and will be responsible for any damages or defects.
