All units are fully furnished which will reduce the costs and hassle of move-in, move-out. Apartments come furnished with stylish living room seating, wall mounted Samsung 46 inch HDTV, dining areas, furnished bedrooms with full sized beds and mattresses, desks, wardrobes, etc. Students need only bring their personal belongings and kitchen utensils and supplies.

Connectivity is your student’s lifeline and we provide the fastest most reliable Internet service in Durham.We provide high speed wireless Internet utilizing the most advanced technologies available today, boasting tiered service levels so you can have our regular high-speed service or order ultra high speed for gaming and video streaming. The facility will have a 500 Mbps Commercial Fiber Internet circuit broadcast over 300 Mbps radios coupled to a 10 Gigabit backbone.

Security is a core focus and no residential property in Durham provides more robust nor more advanced security technology than Madbury Commons.

Residents Keyless Electronic Access Systems – entry using proximity cards, Smartphone, Networked integration with external and internal doors. Complete entry record tracking and digital archiving systems.

Visitor Access Security System – Innovative video intercom security system allows property visitors to query terminal to identify and alert tenants through their cell phones of their arrival. Tenants receive video confirmation of visitor identity and can grant or deny access through their cell phones. All activities are electronically recorded.

Video Surveillance – IP-based HD cameras are intelligently located in the building, rooftops and at all entranceways to record the entrance and exit of all persons. The video feeds are monitored in the security offices and are digitally archived for 30 days or longer.

Security Team– A dedicated security team is onsite and is officed in the main lobby area to provide a physical presence while security responsibilities are being carried out.

Individually Locked Bedrooms – Security extends to the individual bedrooms that have individual locks to assure personal privacy and security.

Even though we’re in NH it still gets hot and your student will need the comfort of air conditioning. We are the only student housing property in downtown Durham with air conditioning, private bedrooms and in unit washer & dryers.

FAQ’S

We offer individual leases running from early June 2018 through late May 2019.

The first step is to complete a lease application. You can apply in person at our leasing office at 21 Madbury Road or online through our website.

Rents are an excellent value because they are truly all-inclusive. Individual rental rates include ALL utilities (heat, hot water, cable, internet, A/C, electricity with a generous per person cap, and in-unit washer and dryer!) and a fully furnished unit with full sized beds, desks, and dressers in each bedroom; stylish living room and dining room furniture; 46” flat screen HDTV in living room; in-unit washer and dryer; and new, sleek appliances in the kitchen (granite countertops, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and built in microwave)!

Each resident in an apartment signs an individual lease that is co-signed by a parent or guardian over age 18. By signing an individual lease, students become responsible only for their own rent. If a roommate should leave the apartment, you remain responsible for only your rent.

Because Madbury Commons is right next to the University and Downtown, there’s no need for a car for day-to-day use. There is no on-property parking for residents. We have a limited amount of parking spaces available within a 2-5 minute walk on a first-come first-serve basis for an additional fee. However, there is satellite parking available for rent in short walking distance or a quick shuttle bus ride.

Madbury Commons is ideally located near the heart of the UNH campus and 1/10th of a mile from Downtown Durham, a short walk from epicenter of Durham and UNH life. The physical address is 21 Madbury Road.
